So I just watched Mean Girls for the first time in my life. It was funny but really stupid. It was one of those yell at the TV kinda shows. I wanted to scream at her "don't sit with them it will ruin your life!!!". Of course things worked out ultimatly but still.
Today I wore a laundry day outfit. Purple tights, boxers, tie dye t-shirt, ballet slippers... pretty much amazing if ya ask me. My tights ripped though and that was some what tragic. Now there is a HUGE hole in the knee of my tights and these horrible huge runs all around the hole. In a way the hole adds to the tights. Kinda makes them look cool and edgy. On the other hand the hole means that in a few weeks I won't be able to wear them any more. For now I have decided to befriend the hole and name it Oliver. My life is now complete.
I wish I could wear my laundry day outfit every day because it's actually really comfortable. Unfortunatly I think my mother would have a heart attack if I ever left the house like this. Sad really. It's a work of art.

Demotion
Sometimes you have to let things out. I think that it's better then bottling up feelings. There are things that people hide that they don't need to. The times you should say something is when you aren't sure whether or not you should. If the person to whom the comment is directed gets angry or thinks you're stupid then you have learned something about them. They aren't your friend.
I like it when people don't have a filter between their brain and their mouth. I would much rather know what someone really thinks than what they think you want to hear.
Nothing says I appreciate you and all the things you've done more than a demotion. ha. I feel like one day my life will make sense. As of right now it's kind of a haze. A big ginormous blue gray mist that continues to grow.

Pause Button
Public Education is probably one of the scariest things I have encountered thus far. You're always worring about the social aspect of school, trying to fit in. At the same time you are trying your best not to fail your classes. The idea of Higher Education is meant to inspire minds, but most of the time it just fries brains. Don't get me wrong school is great, learning is great. But the stress it puts on kids... not so great. At the end of the day I'm so wiped out I can't even get up enough energy to think about doing my homework let alone mustering up the brain power to do it. I wish i could have a PAUSE button on the day. That way time wouldnt move forward. I'd be able to take a nice 3 hour nap and get all my work done with time to spare. I vote yes to the pause button. A really big yes.
I think that it's time I finished my lightning drawing in my student planner.

Dynamite and Laserbeam
Tag team superheroes. Because friendship isn't about how. It's about Why.
My friend and I are Dynamite and Laserbeam. Two crazy cool superheroes (that we invented in our creative little brains). The Dear Dynamite thing is because during class when we should be paying attention we write notes to each other. Dynamite and Laserbeam are our aliases. Just in case some teacher snags our note. This reminds me of those elementary school days when you would pass notes in empty Glue Stick tubes and those little pencil sharpeners... the good old days.
I think I'm going to go to the park and swing and eat a tootsie pop....

Warm Up
One thing that I've noticed in my short seventeen years is that people have a really hard time making decisions. Whether it be "should i buy Creamy or Crunchy peanut butter?" or "should i take this class or that?", people are just really indecisive. So to help them out I have created from the genius-ness of my brain a Toy store analogy or simile or something. ( im not sure which is the right one) .
so. toy store thing. it can be used to make small decisions or big ones. It goes like this: you walk into the store with your mom. she says that you can only have one toy. but you find two that you really, REALLY want. she asks you which one are you going to regret leaving behind? you think and you decide. its up to you. but what you choose is what you get.
yes. i know im so full of wisdom. But really, people make such a huge deal about deciding what to do. In a way their indecision is their decision. By not choosing one or the other, by putting off the decision between the two, they are creating a third route. The choice to put off the decision until its too late and can no longer make the decision. Hmmm I feel like that sounded better in my head.
Right now its raining outside. I love the rain. I just wish I had a Purple umbrella and some rainboots. Then i would go on a rainwalk.
